Cookie Notice

Why there's no cookie banner

Svala Labs only sets cookies that are strictly necessary to run the Service — keeping you signed in, carrying you through a multi-step flow, or crediting a referral. Under EU cookie rules (the ePrivacy Directive), strictly necessary cookies don't require consent, which is why you won't see a cookie banner here. If we ever add non-essential cookies — advertising pixels, third-party video embeds, or cookie-based analytics — we'll introduce a consent banner before they're set, and update this notice first.

Cookies we use

  • Supabase session cookies (sb-*) — keep you signed in. Set when you log in; expire when your session ends or you sign out.
  • jp_demo_payload — temporarily holds the details from the free demo form while you complete sign-in, so you don't have to re-enter them. Expires after 24 hours.
  • jp_ref — records a referral code if you arrived via a friend's invite link, so the referral can be credited correctly on signup. Expires after 30 days. This is a first-party cookie used only for our own referral program — it isn't shared with any advertiser or ad network.

None of these cookies are used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or sold to third parties.

Controlling cookies

Because these cookies are what keep you signed in and carry your in-progress actions, blocking them will affect how the Service works — you may be signed out unexpectedly, or lose progress mid-signup. You can still clear or block cookies at any time through your browser's settings; each major browser documents how (for example, in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari's privacy settings).
